Red Notice was Netflix’s most expensive movie to date, and also (apparently) their biggest opening ever. With massive stars Ryan Reynolds, Dwayne Johnson and Gal Gadot just kind of doing their thing– it’s no wonder why so many people clicked “play.”
Red Notice definitely raises some questions though. Like was this movie sold on name recognition alone? Why did Dwayne Johnson and Gal Gadot’s characters even involve Ryan Reynolds in the whole first part of the plan if they just needed the third egg’s location from him? How did they know they’d end up in the same jail cell as him? Why is prison so easy to break out from? How is that 80-year-old vehicle still running, and why is there a waterfall here?
