NEW 8K Details Reveal KANG in the Multiverse of Madness | Doctor Strange, LOKI, + Deadpool Explained

Marvel’s Doctor Strange and the Multiverse of Madness trailer gave us some huge reveals. Professor Xavier! America Chavez! The Illuminati! And someone who appears to be an Iron Man charcter. But a new upscaled version of the trailer shows us the details on this person’s face–and we think that it is none other than Johnathan Majors, playing a variant of Kang the Conqueror.

A variant of He Who remains would be the perfect person to help establish a kind of proto-TVA, to police the multiverse. But we also theorize that this person is a descendant of Iron man–hence the armor. We also explain how this leads into the Young Avengers, Secret Wars, and–god willing–the appearance of Deadpool in the MCU.

We have got some brand new 8K details from the doctor strange and the multiverse of madness trailer to talk about that will lead into the next big battle of the MCU, and maybe bring Deadpool into the marvel Cinematic Universe.

Yesterday we posted a video theorizing about the Illuminati in the trailer. That’s this mysterious group of multiversal heroes who watch over the multiverse. We threw out a lot of theories. Because of Charles Xavier–whose voice we heard in the trailer. We theorized that we could see Loki–as the guy with the swords, Captain Carter from what if, and maybe a variant of Reed Richards.

But the trailer also showed Iron man. We have this person fighting Wanda wearing an iron suit, emanating cosmic energy. We have the slick looking iron legion bots like tony stark fulfilled his promise to put a suit of armor around the multiverse.

And like a lot of the internet, we did a bit of fan casting, wishing it was tom cruise playing tony stark, since he was almost cast to play him back in 2006.

But this new 8K version of the trailer gives us a better look at this armor-clad illuminati member, and the answer is way more exciting than we thought. And it confirms a theory that I first posited way back in 2019.

When you look at this 8k image you can see that this person is definitely not Tom Cruise, or the Tony Stark we know–this looks very much like Jonathan Majors. You know this guy

So is he who remains, is it Kang? Is it neither, or both? First let me backup and explain who this person is, while recapping a little bit of Loki.

I’m sure almost all of you have seen the show Loki, where we learned that the multiverse was being policed by a bureaucracy called the Time Variance Authority. The TVA’s key objective was to prevent a multiversal war from happening–again.

Then, at the end of the show we learn that the person behind the TVA is this man. A scientist who discovered parallel dimensions. But an infinite number of his counterparts also discovered the multiverse, leading to problems.

According to he who remains, this multiversal war nearly destroyed all of reality. So he weaponized the fog dog Alioth to kill his other variants, and then created the TVA to make sure his most evil variant never existed.

Now the other m super evil variant he’s talking about is Kang the conqueror. He’s one of the avengers’ main villains from the comics. Basically, he’s from a future where everyone was at peace, and he got bored. So he traveled through time, conquering different eras, and splitting off the multiverse every time he did so.

This brought him into conflict with the avengers, the fantastic four, and with himself. He who remains is basically the older version of Kang, called Immortus. There were so many versions of Kang that they eventually formed a council of kangs to oversee their dominion over the timeline. This council of Kangs was spoofed by Rick and Morty’s Council of Ricks.

And the council of Kangs has sort of been reimagined as the illuminati in Doctor Strange and the Multiverse of Madness. Except instead of it being all Kangs watching the multiverse, it’s a select group of heroes from across different realities.

In the MCU, after Sylvie kills He Who Remains, the multiverse is allowed to explode outward once more. This created the evil variant, Kang, who then conquered the TVA.

All of this is setting up the Avengers’ next endgame-level event, but we’ll talk about that in a second.
