Marvel Quietly Introduced Doctor Doom Under Our Nose

Fans were a little disappointed that Doctor Doom wasn’t introduced in Black Panther: Wakanda Forever. The sequel to Black Panther wasn’t a complete bust in that regard if you know what to look for. That’s where CBR comes in. Black Panther: Wakanda Forever may not have straight up introduced Doctor Doom but it laid some very important groundwork for his eventual arrival.

Doctor Doom is a major villain in the Secret Wars comic book arc and everyone has been waiting with bated breath for Doctor Doom to arrive. He basically has to. When you dive deep into what we have within the Marvel Cinematic Universe you can find little Easter eggs going all the way to phase 2.

Wakanda Forever introduced Namor who has a history of working closely with Doctor Doom, The Midnight Angels who defend Wakanda against him, and Shuri becoming the new Black Panther are all major events that point towards a Doctor Doom arrival. With the MCU having a history of misusing or completely underutilizing some of their coolest villains it is a good thing that they are taking their time to introduce one of the biggest bad guys. It may be frustrating now, the anticipation may be unbearable, but the MCU has shown in the past that the big payoffs are definitely worth it.

When do you think Doctor Doom will join the MUC? How badly do you think he will shake things up? Are there any other clues that we missed? Let us know in the comments and thank you for watching!
