Encanto: 25 Things You Missed

The latest Disney animated movie to drop is more Disney magic. After Frozen, Zootopia, Wreck-It-Ralph, Tangled, Coco, Luca and Raya and the Last Dragon, the bar was set pretty high for the latest entry into the Disney canon. It tells the story of the Madrigal family who live in a protected realm thanks to a magical candle. It also gives the entire family superpowers and brings the house alive. The main character Mirabel must discover all of her family’s secrets and uncover the problem that is causing all of them to lose their powers forever. What follows is a fun, wholesome movie that also tugs at the heartstrings like every Toy Story movie.

So what all did you miss while you were laughing or crying? There are plenty of pieces of foreshadowing that hint at twists coming later in the film. There are also theories about secrets the film might be hiding in plain sight. The movie also has an allstar cast from things like Brooklyn 99 and Orange Is The New Black. It also features the music of Hamilton and In The Heights writer Lin Manuel Miranda. Then there’s the one Disney star who has to appear in every single one of their movies. Not only that but there are plenty of references to other Disney classics that have come out before such as Hercules and Beauty and the Beast.

So which of these are the best? Let’s find out! Don’t forget to like, subscribe and share for more from ScreenRant!
